Disclaimers (Wait, there’s more than one?):

I’m not a doctor. I have no medical degree and can’t give medical advice. My medical knowledge consists of my experience and subsequent personal research.  This blog is my story and struggle with postpartum anxiety and OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder).

However, if you think you’re developing symptoms or know someone who is, I urge you, out of love and compassion for your sanity and your family’s well-being; please seek advice and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, psychologist, therapist IMMEDIATELY. If you are having suicidal thoughts, please seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY. Please do not delay, there is help, and you are NOT alone.

ALSO, on a personal note, I’m not setting out to fling insults or accusations, but I do want to frank and honest.  Anything else would be a disservice, I think, to anyone who has or will develop a postpartum mood disorder.
